Class teachers send home specific history and geography activities related to their year group's topic. This will be via Class Dojo and the paper work packs. However, there are some key facts which all pupils need to know before leaving the Junior school.

 

Firstly, it is important to know the seven continents and the five oceans of the world. Can you name them? Can you locate them on a world map? Use the worksheets below to help you.

Secondly, getting used to the world map and where countries are located is important. It can take time to identify where places are in the world. Here are some games and worksheets you can do at home to practice.
