Y3 Term 4 American Road Trip

National curriculum content

Focus on North and South America, concentrating on their environmental regions, key physical and human characteristics, countries and major cities. Understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of a region.

 

Lesson objectives

  1. Hook: identify landmarks in North and South America and try different foods
  2. Locate cities in North America
  3. Locate and recall facts about South American cities
  4. Compare South American and North American cities
  5. Persuade someone to go to North or South America on holiday
