  • School Dinner Update - Summer Term

    Mon 25 Apr 2022

    Dear Parents and carers,

Due to continued major disruption of the power supply at Cotmanhay Junior School, our production kitchen site, we are unfortunately required to continue to make changes to our lunchtime meal provision.

As you are aware, prior to the Easter break we were able to provide a sandwich packed lunch for pupils, which we will continue to do. We have been working with the school to rectify the electrical supply issue and unfortunately investigators have concluded that, due to the nature of the problem which requires the coordination of several electric providers the kitchen may be required to remain closed for a little longer than previously expected.

The meals served will therefore differ from the menu advertised. Please be assured that we are working with the school to resolve the situation as a matter of urgency, and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

If you have any questions please contact Sara Jones Catering Service Manager 01629 536597 sara.jones2@derbyshire.gov.uk
